You don't have to remove rail or scope to use it.
Press comes with short rod . You will be able to replace string and cables only. Not the limbs. It's more compact this way. And 99% of users use the press
only for this purpose.
Additionally you can purchase long rod assembly You will be able to replace string , cables and limbs but it takes more space and time to perform the task.
Please contact me if you will be interested in long rod assembly.
You will have to swap them around.
Press will work on all Ravin models EXCEPT:
- R500 series

- R18

Easy to install, works as advertised. I haven't changed the string or cables (just loosened then) but there shouldn't be any issues. Great that the scope doesn't need to be removed, just the crank and quiver holder, 1 screw. Well made!
